  1. Systems Engineering Capability Assessment Model Questionnaire


Thank you for participating in this systems engineering capability self-assessment. A questionnaire is one of several methods that can be used to gather information about your organization. Each question should be responded to based upon your perspectives and with respect to your immediate department, organization and/or program. Boxes have been provided in the questionnaire for yes/no responses. Responses for “not applicable" or “don't know" are also permitted. When appropriate, please indicate these responses by writing “n/a" and “d/k", respectively (in the margin).

A glossary is provided in the back of the questionnaire to clarify the meaning of key terms. Within the questionnaire, italics are used to denote terms that are included in the glossary.

Certain questions posed in the questionnaire will require you to make value judgments. Please be aware that answers will be evaluated in the context of many other responses and will not be attributable to a single individual. Wherever possible, terms used in association with the questions have been defined to assist you in making an appropriate response.
