Find the Statistics Act of your country using the websites cited at the end of this presentation (Note that these websites applied at the time when this presentation was produced). Study it, familiarise yourself with it and:
Identify the competences of your National Statistical Office from it.
Choose one Statistics Act from any country in the SADC region and compare it with that of your country. Are there any similarities or differences between the two? If there are, what are they? Write a 2 page report on these elements and make a presentation in class.
