Science 294: Exercise #7 Page


The following is a table from a publication. You are to format it so it looks exactly like the print handout entitled Exercise 7. I have inserted some comments in the table so that you can make corrections. The comments appear as annotations which are described in the Word 98 Help file. They are found at the following symbol . To see the annotation, double click on the symbol. If you click on the symbol and press delete, the symbol and the annotation will be removed. Make the changes, indicated by the symbol . In addition, make any other changes in formatting that are required to make your copy identical to that of the example given out entitled "Exercise 7."

Print the final document with all of the annotations and these comments removed. The document must be printed on a laser or ink jet printer at 300 (or more) dpi. Turn in copies of the final product in a) printed form and b) via an attachment sent to the email address given by the instructor.

Your next examination will include several Word formatting exercises in class. The examination will test your ability to carry out formatting changes quickly.
