Robin L. Diamonte – Chief Investment Officer, United Technologies Corporation Robin joined United Technologies in December of 2004. She is responsible for overseeing UTC’s $35 Billion in global retirement assets. This includes $17B in the domestic pension plan, $4B in non-U.S. pension plan’s and UTC’s $14B 401(k) defined contribution plan. She is a member of the U.S. pension investment committee, a trustee for several UK pension plans and a trustee for the UTC Canadian plan.
Prior to joining UTC, Robin spent thirteen years with Verizon Investment Management Corporation. At Verizon, she was Managing Director and Co-head of Global Public Investments responsible for asset allocation for their $40 Billion dollar defined benefit plan, overseeing external investment managers and the Strategic Partnership program.
Prior to joining Verizon, Robin spent five years with Southern New England Telephone as an Engineer designing Microwave Radio Systems and then as a Product Manager for Local Area Network Equipment. She graduated from the University of New Haven where she received her undergraduate B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and her MBA with a concentration in Finance.
