In this seminar, the speaker will use the results of “The Global State of Information Security 2010”, a worldwide study by PricewaterhouseCoopers, CIO Magazine and CSO Magazine, to share his insights with the audience on what global executives expect of information security in the current business environment and what strategies should be considered by information security managers to align their information security function with what their business really needs. Calvin Jim is a Senior Manager in the PwC Risk and Controls Solution Practice in Shenzhen. He has more than 14 years IT audit and advisory-related experience in both Hong Kong and Southern China. Calvin is responsible for IT risk management and internal controls related engagements, including external and internal audit, information security, Sarbanes Oxley 404 advisory, project implementation assurance, pre- and post-implementation assessment and third party assurance. In the past years, Calvin has led numerous ERP application security and business process control assessment projects for listed companies and multi-national corporations across a wide range of sectors. He also managed several information security related projects including IT risk assessment and management, internal/external network security vulnerabilities assessment and IT infrastructure security diagnostic reviews.
Calvin Jim holds a Bachelor Degree in Information Technology (Commerce) from The Australia National University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (Australia).
