Was the Moon Landing Fake?

In this project, I shall be investigating about the Apollo 11 mission to the moon, if man really landed on the moon and took those steps on the surface of the moon. I will be trying to find out if what happened in 1969 was real or just a hoax to the entire nation and to the whole world. The Apollo 11 mission launched in 1969 was one of the first missions to land on moon, and on July 20th 1969 Neil Armstrong and Edwin E. Aldrin Jr. became the first ever humans to walk on the moon. This inspirational moment was broadcasted all over the world with everyone glued to the television. This was one of the important moments in history, but was this just a fake stunt to fool the nation into believing that NASA achieved something great or was it a real success that NASA was successful for the first ever people to send man to the moon.

The Apollo 11 mission under jurisdiction by President John F Kennedy was his dream that he will send a man to the moon "I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the moon and returning him safely to the Earth." — Pres. Kennedy, May 25, 19611. President John F Kennedy wanted to show the world that if America say’s something they will stick to what they say, from that day on the Apollo 11 mission was born. It took NASA eight years to make this dream reality, assembled with the best crew NASA can offer Neil Armstrong (Commander), Michael Collins (Command Module Pilot) and Edwin E. Aldrin Jr. (Lunar Module Pilot) and on 16th July 1969 Apollo 11 launched. It took the astronauts four days to arrive at their destination and on 20th July 1969, 02:56 GMT, nearly 20 minutes after first opening the hatch on the Eagle landing craft2 Neil Armstrong stepped out the space craft said these memorable word “one small step for man, one giant leap for man kind”. With millions of people watching back on earth Neil Armstrong stepped on the surface of the moon and changed history for ever. He described the moon surface as been like powdered charcoal, and he soon collected samples of the surface in case the mission had to be aborted suddenly. Neil Armstrong was accompanied by Edwin Aldrin and both of them soon did a few exercises before plating the flag of USA at 03:15 GMT.

On July 24th the astronauts arrived to earth as hero’s, the first ever men to walk the surface of the moon. They succeeded what people could only describe as impossible,

Problematical, unachievable but these men reached their goal with the help of NASA; President John F Kennedy dream was fulfilled.

As time progressed, people started analysing the footage of the moon landing, and the picture which was taken on the moon and started pointing out faults. They analysed a picture and saw that the flag of the USA was fluttering, but how can there be wind on the moon when there’s no atmosphere on the moon. Also they analysed the footage and they claimed that the shadow does not align with the astronaut where the light source of the sun is being projected. They started to believe that the moon landing wasn’t real.

This is only a conspiracy theory that NASA and the US government tricked the world into believing that America achieved the impossible, this investigation will have the dept detail to finally get an answer. Most of the world believes that the moon landing was real, but only a small percentage think it was all a big hoax. There are many views for and against to this argument here is some evidence to back up both arguments.

Some evidence into believing the moon landing was real

Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin collected a total of 382 kilograms (842 lb) of Moon rocks and Moon dust were collected during the Apollo 113, this was so that NASA can be able to analyze the rock, and they believe they are dated back 4.5 billions years ago, but many doubted they were just any other rocks but experiments confirmed these rocks to be lunar rocks. This was hard evidence that man really landed on the moon, proving that America achieved one of the greatest moments in history.

This is a Laser Ranging Retroreflectors which it’s used as a target to gain a signal from earth so that they could calculate for example distance from earth to the moon; this machinery was left on the moon evidence for their moon landing

These are footprints on the moon left by the astronauts from their exploration

Some Evidence into believing the moon landing wasn’t real
If we really look at both these pictures we can see the picture on the left we see Edwin Aldrin saluting the flag then on the other picture he has his arm down, but we can see on both pictures the flag of the USA has not moved meaning it may have been edited in the picture, also why is the flag fluttering, when there suppose to be no gravity in space and no atmosphere on the moon?
he conspiracy behind the moon landing states that NASA and other organizations fooled their nation and the world into believing that man landed on the moon and that America achieved something great, but as photos, videos and statements of the moon landing started to be analyzed it soon came to be clear that the moon landing might have not even happened, not on the moon anyways.

As press was getting more reluctant to find answers about the moon landing Neil Armstrong made a serious statement “You do not deserve answers!”6 Was he cracking with the guilt inside of him or was he been asked to decline all questions from the US government?

In this investigation, we know that there are good arguments to believing t

The moon land was real, and good arguments into believing that the moon landing was fake. Here are some more pictures, but there are two arguments for and against the moon landing.

Moon Landing was Fake

Moon Landing was Real

As you can see that the Luna module is over shadowing the astronaut, but the astronaut can be well seen and not dark.

There were multiple light sources, Launius said. "You've got the sun, the Earth's reflected light, and light reflecting off the lunar module, the spacesuits, and also the lunar surface."

The reflection that on the picture can be evidence that they shot this picture in a studio.

It’s highly unlikely NASA would make such an obvious blunder if they had spent millions of dollars to fake the moon landing, Plait said.

There are no stars to be seen in the distance.

The moon's surface reflects sunlight, and that glare would have made stars difficult to see. Also, the astronauts photographed their lunar adventures using fast exposure settings, which would have limited incoming background light

E-mail sent to NASA
I had to get the proper verdict on this perplexing question, so I went on the website and I sent NASA and email saying:
Hi my name is mark, I am a student in the UK and I’m trying to
>find out the truth behind the moon landing
>would you please provide information about the moon landing to help me
>in my studies
>thank you
>I’m looking forward to your response

After a few days, I got a reply from NASA John H. Glenn Research Center in America

This is what they sent:

I hope all is well. :)

See you,
