Physical Description
The laughing kookaburra is about 45 cm long, with a long and heavy bill. The main colors of the feathers are brown, black, white, and gray.
Habitat
The laughing kookaburra lives in dense woodland.
Location
. This kookaburra can be found in eastern and southern Australia including New Guinea, and was recently introduced to Tasmania.
Diet
. The kookaburra’s diet consists of frogs, lizards, insects, rodents, small birds, and fish.
Adaptations
The laughing kookaburra has developed strong neck muscles to help kill prey.
