ARE YOU UP TO THE “CHALLENGE”? As the next installment of this year’s Pacific Coast Challenge the Island Rallysport Club is hosting Round #3 on Vancouver Island, Canada. The rallymasters are going to take you on some incredibly awesome roads on the remote, and beautifully rugged, south Vancouver Island. You will travel from one coast to the other across the breadth of our rock. This will be more than a rally. It will be an adventure. All the stops have been pulled out. We are using some of our most favored roads. Smooth wide mainlines, and some twisty secondary roads to challenge all skill levels. This is a two-day endurance event designed to “challenge” all. Stops and rest times will be few with no scheduled lunch breaks. Tune up that rally car, get lots of rest, and prepare for the rush of your life, here on our beautiful Vancouver Island!

At the date of printing (July 30th) there are some route considerations still in flux. Final distances have yet to be determined but the approximate rally distance will be 900km with about 650km of regularity stages.

Rally route: Vancouver Island, northwest from Victoria to Duncan and return.

Rally start: Whitespot Restaurant in Colwood. (Directions below)

Travel from Tsawwassen/Swartz Bay. Head south on Highway #17 to Victoria. At approx. 25 kms turn right off #17 onto McKenzie following direction signs for Nanaimo/Hwy #1. Once on Hwy #1 northbound take Exit 10 following signs for Colwood/Sooke (Hwy #14). Continue for about 2.5 km and turn left into the parking lot for the Whitespot Restaurant.
