Gabrielle Aplin

Please Don’t Say You Love Me” (single)

Released 18th November 2012

(Parlophone Records)

A self-taught, multi-instrumentalist from Bath, 19 year old Gabrielle Aplin has announced that her first single since signing to the legendary Parlophone Records label will be “Please Don’t Say You Love Me”, out November 18th. Haunting and beautiful, Please Don’t Say You Love Me is Gabrielle’s unique take on life, love, uncertainty and heartbreak. It is available for pre-order here:

The official video has already achieved an incredible 640,000+ views in less than one week since it was first posted to YouTube! You can see it here:
Gabrielle Aplin’s first three self released EPs have already sold over 60,000 copies. Her track ‘Home’ currently has over 1.6 million YouTube views, and she has in excess of 10 million views in total. On release, ‘Home’ was made Single of the Week on iTunes, where it charted Top 10.
With a brand new six date UK tour just announced – all her five previous five UK tours have been complete sell-outs – this could well be your last chance to see Gabrielle in venues this size;

In addition to the above UK dates, Gabrielle will also go some way towards achieving her dream of running her own pub (The Apl-Inn) and producing her very own cider range when she takes over the famous Ring’O’Bells pub in Compton Martin (at the heart of the Chew Valley - nr Bath) for a very special free entry Halloween Party (on 31st October 2012).
NB This is the same pub that Parlophone Records took over for one legendary night in 2010 to host a gig by Kylie Minogue, Tinie Tempah and Eliza Doolittle, who played live to Parlophone Records staff, friends and astonished locals!
Entry on the night is completely free, there will be a marquee and BBQ in the pub’s garden (which will be ‘Enchanted Forest’ themed for the night), local cider producer Ashton Press have agreed to supply a stock made to Gabrielle’s very own secret cider recipe, and special guests at this special one-off show will include new Universal Records signings Hudson Taylor (as well as spooky fun and games set to include ‘Aplin Bobbing’).
