Outlines of Period Flower Arrangement-Hannay, Designing by Types-Osborne, Essence of Creativity…A Legacy, Chapters 1, 3, 4, Table Settings For All Seasons-Wood & Smith, Chapters 7 and Traditional Designs, Hortulana, Revised-Heber, “ Introduction” and “How to Use the Book”, plus those paragraphs pertaining to members of the Plant Group studied in this course, The Houseplant Expert-Hessayon, Tree and Shrub Expert-Hessayon, The New Flower Expert-Hessayon, The Bulb Expert-Hessayon
These “Expert” books may be purchased as needed for the Plant Group/s and plants selected to be studied in each course. Horticulture Instructor is to advise Local FSS Chairman of books and pages of required reading.

Instructors
Horticulture-Mrs. Tina V. Tuttle
Tina Tuttle, of Molino, Florida, is a NGC Horticulture Instructor, NGC Flower Show Procedure Instructor, NGC Symposium Instructor, NGC accredited Master Judge, NGC Gardening Consultant, certified Florida Yards and Neighborhoods Advisor, Florida State Horticulture Chairman , Deep South Region Horticulture Chairman. She has worked extensively as Habitat for Humanity Landscape Projects Chairman personally landscaping over 25 houses. She is the author, editor and creator of “Digging It!”, Florida’s Horticulture Study Series. She served as Co-Chairman of the Deep South Region Advanced Standard Petite Flower Show. She and her husband, both retired Naval officers, have one son.
Design-Mrs. Gina V. Jogan
Gina Jogan, of Molino, Florida, is a NGC Design Instructor, NGC Flower Show Procedure Instructor, NGC Symposium Instructor, NGC accredited Master Judge, NGC Gardening Consultant, Deep South Region Floral Design Chairman, Creator and Chairman of the Annual Emerald Coast Flower and Garden Festival, which supports scholarships in Horticulture Studies at Pensacola Junior College and the University of Florida. She is FFGC Chairman of the “Fun With Flowers” program; wrote and published supplement to Manual for FWF programs; places designs on ffgc.org website. She served as Co-Chairman of the Deep South Region Advanced Standard Petite Flower Show. She and her husband have two sons. |
