SOMEWHAT DROUGHT TOLERANT PLANTS
The following plants endure some degree of drought but are likely to perform better or grow more quickly with a modest amount of irrigation. Included on this list are many native plants that survive but don’t thrive in exceptionally dry, hot, exposed situations. In most cases only one or two deep waterings per month in the summer (or less, on heavier soils) is enough to hold these plants over.
