People Who Help Us
(Tune: “The Farmer in the Dell”)
he doctor makes us well,
The doctor makes us well,
Hey, Ho! What do you know?
The Doctor makes us well.
The farmer sows the seed....
The chef cooks the food....
The policemen keep us safe...
The optician checks your eyes...
4. 5 White Teeth
5 white teeth, sitting in a mouth, sitting in a mouth, sitting in a mouth,
5 white teeth, sitting in a mouth, sitting in a mouth!
long came a sticky, sticky sweet, a sticky, sticky sweet, a sticky, sticky sweet.
Along came a sticky, sticky sweet...
One tooth went bad and had to be pulled out!
4 white teeth...etc
. The Plumber (tune: “Yankee Doodle”)
Pipes can carry water to
the bathroom or the kitchen.
But when the pipes aren't working,
then a plumber has to fix them.
When the sink is backing up,
when the tap is dripping,
when the toilet just won't flush,
we need a plumber quickly!
6. Postman Pat
Postman Pat, Postman Pat
Postman Pat and his black and white cat.
Early in the morning just as day is dawning
He puts all his letters in the van.
Everybody knows his bright red van
All the children smile as he waves to greet them
Maybe, you can never be sure, there’ll be
Knock, ring, letters through your door,
Postman Pat, Postman Pat,
Postman Pat and his black and white cat
All the birds are singing, the day is just beginning,
Pat feels he’s a very happy man.
We have been all been working hard. Each class has their ECO helpers for the month. Recycling is becoming second nature to them all!
Our Eco Focus will be saving water. We will be teaching the children about their right to clean water, the importance of clean water and encouraging them not to be wasteful with water.
Story Sack Libraryhas commenced please remember to volunteer to check off sacks. Storysacks must be returned and checked off on the following days:-
Tuesdays - Room 2
Wednesdays –Room 3
Over the years we have had such positive feedback about the Story sacks and how much the whole family enjoys them.
Please look after them as we need them to last us as long as possible.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO VOLUNTEER!!! If story sacks are not checked off by parents there will be NO story sack library available for that class.
If you wish an update on your child’s progress, please do not hesitate to speak to their class teacher and she will schedule an appointment for you.
We are all delighted with our recent inspection from ETI. We received an outstanding in all areas. You should all have received a copy of the report. Once again a BIG THANK YOU to all those parents who supported us through the process and at other times.
