Option 011 Disk Erasure Utility

The OPT_011 utility is used for the benchtop logic analyzers fixed disks respectively. The utility erases and makes unrecoverable all user data on the 540Mb fixed disk by first writing 0's to the entire disk, then 1's, and then alternately 0's and 1's. This is not a supported utility.



  1. Insert a formatted 1.44MB DOS flexible disk in the flexible disk drive of your PC

  2. Do a [ SHIFT ][ MOUSE CLICK ] on the following link:

  • OPTC_011 Utility for the 1660/70 series of Benchtop Analyzers

  1. Netscape will then prompt you for a destination. Specify a: as the destination Drive.

  2. Insert the flexible disk in the logic analyzer flexible disk drive, then apply power to the logic analyzer. The utility will automatically begin to erase the hard disk drive.
