1 In Region 3 and ICES VIa and VIIa a minimum conservation reference size of total length of 70 mm and a carapace length of 20 mm shall apply.

2 In Region 3 and ICES VIa and VIIa a minimum conservation reference size of 37 mm shall apply.

3 In the North Sea a minimum conservation reference size of 30 cm shall apply.

4 30 cm for industrial purposes only

5 No minimum conservation reference size will apply to horse mackerel (Trachurus picturatus) caught in waters adjacent to the Azores islands and under the sovereignty or jurisdiction of Portugal.

6 In ICES IXa east of longitude 7° 23' 48" W a minimum conservation reference size of 10 cm will apply.

7 In the Skagerrak/Kattegat a minimum conservation reference size of 220mm and a carapace length of 78 mm shall apply.

8 In the waters under sovereignty or jurisdiction of Region 5 a gutted weight of 450 grammes shall apply.

9 In Region 2 south of 56° N, except ICES Divisions VIId, e, f, and ICES Division IVb, c and Region 3 a minimum conservation reference size of 130 mm shall apply.

10 In an area in ICES Division IVb, c limited by a point at 53°28'22"N, 0°09'24"E, on the coast of England, a straight line joining this point with 53°28'22"N, 0°22'24"E, the 6 mile boundary of the United Kingdom, and a straight line connecting a point at 51°54'06"N, 1°30'30"E, with a point on the coast of England at 51°55'48"N, 1°17'00"E, a minimum conservation reference size of 115 mm shall apply.

11 In ICES VIIa north of 52° 30' N, VIId a minimum conservation reference size of 110 mm shall apply."

(2) Annex XIIa is deleted.
