Abstract

This white paper contains information about the Chkdsk command-line utility. The Chkdsk utility creates and displays a status report for the disk and lists and corrects errors on the disk. The paper presents general information about how to use Chkdsk and specific information about how to use Chkdsk with Microsoft Windows 2000 Server Cluster.

Some material in this white paper is adapted from Microsoft Knowledge Base articles and Microsoft TechNet articles (including material from other Microsoft books, resource kits, and other references).
