EDUCATION

February 2002 Ph.D. of Civil Engineering, Cairo University, Public Works Department, Thesis title: “Pavement Maintenance Effectiveness By Using Expert Systems Technology.” The research applied "Life-Cycle-Cost Analysis" and "Cost Effectiveness" techniques and an Expert System was developed to aid in evaluating pavement maintenance alternatives.

August 1992 M.Sc. of Construction Engineering, Construction Engineering Department, Zagazig University, Egypt. Thesis title: “Building Construction Materials.” The research aimed to evaluate the technical and economical aspects of building brick alternatives. Value Engineering (VE) techniques were applied in the research which was critical after preventing the production of traditional (red) brick.

May 1984 B. Sc. of Construction Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Zagazig University, General rate of appreciation: Very Good with honor, Graduation Project: Construction Project Management, Project Grade: Excellent.
