In Summary:

Participated as the lead Techno/Functional team member on the PeopleSoft HRMS 8.9 upgrade project.

My responsibilities included both functional and technical aspects of the upgrade from HRMS 8.3 and implementation of the 8.9 modules/products: Talent Acquisition Manager and Candidate Gateway products. Duties included resolving customer issues and developing & deploying enhancements to the recruiting modules, create custom workflows for the Job Opening/Job Offer approvals processes, .configuring the applications, provide impact analysis, gathering user requirements, writing test scripts, trouble shooting, creating detailed specifications. This included custom approval work flows for the PeopleSoft applications, eBenefits customizations, Open Enrollment processes, COBRA processing , Talent Acquisition Manager and Candidate Gateway customizations and 3rd Party integration with Job Boards, upgrading SQRs, PeopleCode, COBOL, SQL Queries, and Application engine programs to the new 8.9 table structures. Create XML interfaces for SEVIS feed, and to other JHU systems and vendors using the integration broker (SOAP, WSDL and FTP) methods. Other duties included applying PeopleSoft bundles fixes and patches, application configuration, preparing the benefits Open Enrollment for the employee’s elections for 2008, creating client specific PeopleSoft applications (components, pages, PeopleCode) using the Application designer and performance tuning the 8.9 applications to improve the user experience.

In Summary:

Participated as a one of the team leads for the PeopleSoft HCM 8.3 to 8.9 upgrade project. Responsible for functional and technical aspects of the upgrade from HRMS 8.3 to PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM 8.9 Solutions modules/products: Recruiting Solutions (Candidate Gateway, Talent Acquisition Manager), and interfacing with the clients external recruiting corporate applications. Other modules included (Payroll(Global & NA), GL interfacing, Manager-Recruiter-Employee Self Service and Ben Admin & Base Benefits).
