CORRIGENDUM

Sub:- Hub and spoke system for CONCOR


Container Corporation of India Ltd (CONCOR) was permitted to operate Hub and Spoke system for transportation of containers for list of hubs and the connected originating and terminating stations enclosed in Railway Board’s letter of even number dated 14.10.2008.
It is clarified that Annexure –II of that letter may be treated as cancelled and the new Annexure –II of hubs and the connected originating and terminating stations is given below

This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate in the Ministry of Railways.

CORRIGENDUM

Sub: Two point combinations for steel traffic and composition of CONCORD rake. (Corrigendum No.3 to Rates Circular No.25 of 2008)


Ref: Board’s letter of even number dated 13.06.2008 (Rates Circular No.25 of

2008) and corrigendum thereto.


1.0 In terms of para 5.5 of Transportation Product contained in Board’s letter of even number dated 13.06.2008 (Rates Circular No.25 of 2008), conditions for loading of Two and Multi Point Rakes in other than covered wagons at trainload rates were advised. A list of two point combinations for other than covered stock (for steel traffic only) was attached as Annexure-III to the Rates Circular No.25 of 2008. Two more two points combination point were added in the list in terms of Corrigendum No.1 to Rates Circular

No.25 of 2008.


1.1 It has been decided that the notified Two point or Multi point destination combinations for other than covered wagons, placed at Annexure-III of Rates Circular No.25 of 2008, may be kept at abeyance till 31.12.2008 for Steel Traffic only. Now Steel

traffic can be booked to any combination of two point or Multi point combinations at trainload rate subject to fulfillment of all other terms and conditions stipulated in para 5.5

of Rates Circular No.25 of 2008.
2.0 A composition of CONCORD (BOXN/BRN/BOST/BFNS wagons) rake for grant of trainload rate benefit was advised in terms of S.No.24 of Annexure-II to the Rates Circular No.25 of 2008.
2.1 It has been decided that the composition of CONCORD rakes may be permitted amongst BOXN/BRN/BOST/BFNS wagons in any combination for the purpose of granting trainload rate benefit.
3.0 These instructions will come into force w.e.f. 26.11.2008 and will remain in force

till 31.12.2008.


4.0 This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation Directorate and with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
