Obtaining the Host Access SSL_NSCAPE Object – Version V6R1

This document is intended for UPS Host Access customers who are downloading the V6R1 version of the SSL_NSCAPE Service Program. In order to meet the standards of IBM’s V6R1 OS environment the SSL_NSCAPE Service program had to be upgraded to the level of V6R1. These instructions should be used when downloading the SSL_NSCAPE object.

This document describes the procedure for downloading the UPS Host Access software component SSL_NSCAPE package using the UPS FTP site.  For internet enabled AS/400 environments, the object may be downloaded directly to the AS/400.   For those environments that do not have internet capabilities, the object must be downloaded from the UPS FTP server to a local PC.  After a successful download to the local PC, the object may then be loaded onto the AS/400.  Please follow the procedures below and contact the UPS Host Access Support Helpdesk with any questions - 1-800-715-0361.
