Consequences for Inappropriate Behavior
First time: Documented warning.
Second time: Student fills out a form that asks them to identify the rule they've broken and what they plan to do to correct the situation. (Teacher keeps the form on file.)
Third time: Documented call home to parents.
Fourth time: Scheduled detention (before school).
Fifth time: Office referral.
There are just a few supplies that you will need for this class and that you will be responsible for:
Standard Master Lock Company combination lock. (Students will be responsible for securing all personal items).
Solid Black athletic shorts
Solid Red T-shirt (No explicit graphics or designs)
One Brad folder with pockets for all handouts (to be kept in your locker).
There are two levels of work that will determine your grade:
Dress/Participation – 80%
Dress will consist of black shorts with a red shirt. (Daily)
Participation will be graded on active engagement in all daily activities.
(Daily participation is mandatory and will be expected from all students)
Tests – 20%
Tests will consist of unit assessments, fitness assessments, skills assessments, writing assignments, group projects and presentations.
