Michael Jackson was the legendary King of Pop. He died on the 25th of June 2009 in his home. It is believed that Dr. Conrad Murray gave him an overdose of prescription drugs.
He lived in his famous fun park Neverland Ranch in California America.
He had many number ones in the music charts with ‘Billie Jean’, ‘Beat it’ and ‘Thriller’. The first time the public saw his signature dance move was in Motown Studios he called it the famous ‘moonwalk’. He was part of a band called The Jackson 5 with four of his brothers in it. He also appeared in many movies. He had three children Michael 13, Paris 12 and ‘Blanket’ 7. He never showed their faces in public because he didn’t want them exposed to his fame.
He took great care of his children and told Oprah Winfrey in an interview that he planned on adopting a boy and a girl from each continent in the future but he never got a chance.
Everybody was shocked at the death of Michael Jackson because he was planning on doing a 50 date sold out concert in the U.K leaving thousands of fans disappointed. Many fans didn’t get a refund on their ticket, as they wanted to keep it as a memory.
Some didn’t want to live without Michael Jackson so they took their own life. The court case is estimated not to end until a few years time but nobody will ever know what exactly happened on the 25th of June. He was an amazing performer and will never be forgotten.
