Final DRAFT Agenda
The primary purposes of the 12th UIC meeting are to increase participation within this region; increase awareness of UIC activities across all Committees; prepare for the upcoming GEO Plenary in Washington, DC; explore strategic ideas for next year’s Ministerial; provide for discussion forums for UIC Activity Plan elements; and review progress on UIC-led tasks in GEO 2009-2011 Work Plan.

The primary outcomes from the meeting include:

  • development of Plenary report presentation and final presenter assignment

  • evaluation of the Carbon CoP within the context of the scope of the Forest CoP

  • assessment of completed Activity Plan elements and update of other elements

  • discussion of and input to the GEO Sec review

  • identification of UIC contributions for presentation at the Ministerial

  • update on the M&E WG and discussion of role of UIC in future activities

Sunday, September 13 – UIC Co-Chair meeting. Please meet in the lobby of the Citi Hotel at 7pm; we’ll find a place for dinner and go over the agenda and any other major points. Anyone is welcome to attend.
