Las Vegas, NV – 9th June 2015 – Rovio Entertainment returns to International Licensing EXPO with news of a flock of new best-in-class anchor partnerships that will bolster the Angry Birds North American licensing program ahead of the launch of Angry Birds, the first full-length movie from the franchise that is set for worldwide release in May 2016.
Spin Master joins games partner Hasbro and newly announced LEGO in the toy category taking the rights for figures, environments, remote control and action games whilst the Commonwealth Toy and Novelty Company extends its hugely successful relationship with Rovio by adding multiple new plush lines that will hit the sweet spot of younger Angry Birds fans.
New apparel partners Hybrid and Freeze lead the charge to retail with on-trend fashion collections that will harness the pop culture appeal of the Angry Birds brand amongst men, women and children.
Sleepwear specialist Komar is on board for pajamas and loungewear and kids will have access to a new collection of backpacks, bags, lunch kits, luggage, headwear and cold weather accessories from Accessory Innovations.
In the personal care category Dr. Fresh, one of the world’s fastest growing oral care companies, will be launching a variety of new Angry Birds products designed to encourage healthy dental hygiene. Hero items from the range include the Firefly Angry Birds Mouth Rinse that features a fun pump modelled on the character’s head, a no mess rinse cup and it is bubble gum flavoured whilst being sugar and alcohol free.
